Huh, well I don't know if it's that scary, but it has blood and a crow in it. And a dead rat. So I guess it fits.
Anyway, I colored this picture last night. Took about 2-3 hours, I was quite into it so I'm not exactly sure. Closer to 2 hours maybe. That's more impressive. The flesh tones turned out especially well and the crow ain't bad either. I concentrated more on getting the colors right rather than on getting them to fit perfectly inbetween the lines. Actually, it turned out all the better for it.
The drawing is from a comic I was thinking of doing for that damned TokyoPop contest. Ultimately, I decided against it for two reasons. 1) I don't want to be known for doing horror as horror is merely my break from humor. 2) It was about a zombie and I was afraid people would think he was a vampire. Also, there are too many vampire stories. Way too many.
I think it's pretty though. Maybe I'll color the other one tonight.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
